Thanks Byron! A pic of her was shared on Squirrel Dog Country's page on Facebook today. Hope we can get her on the cover of Full Cry one of these days. We have had multiple Gray dogs between the covers over the years but it would be awesome to be on front!!!

If you want to see the definition of a Mountain Feist Squirrel Dog look no farther than Gray's Prairie Daisy. She is the backbone of the Gray Feist Line. Her offspring get the job done just like her. She passes her traits onto her pups regardless of male she's bred too. We plan to have Daisy's blood running deep at our place into the future. I hope my grandkids will be hunting Gray's Feist dogs that are heavy Daisy bred.

Gray's Prairie Daisy is easing into official retirement. We don't have an exact figure of squirrels killed over her but it is a lot! Literally thousands. I can only imagine the ones she had but I couldn't find! She's hunted in many states and has produced a great legacy of squirrel dogs that go back to her. Daisy will most likely make appearances on special occasions but after 10 squirrel seasons, she's certainly earned some rest & relaxation! These are two squirrels she treed this evening. I shot the first squirrel out to Daisy when she was 6 months old. The other day, I knocked out the last. What a dog she's been!!!
