By the way, he's built much more like Daisy than Simon. His head is exactly the same as hers, just with more color.

Hey phil, bandit is looking great! How tall is he now? He looks like he has a good bit of size on River queen!

Byron, We call him Tex. He is 15" at the shoulder and weighs (as of this morning) 17 lbs. I'm from Liberty, NC originally and still have family there and a daughter in Raleigh. Maybe, some time when I'm down we can get together for a hunt.

That sounds great phil! Let me know when your in town and we'll get a hunt set up. Tex is growing real fast, River queen is 12.5 inches tall and 13lbs and really solid at this point. What all game do you plan on hunting him on?

I plan to hunt squirrels with him. I'm also training him to bloodtrail deer.

Tex is coming along fine. I haven't been able to work him much. My mother-in-law passed away last week and the last few weeks have been pretty hectic with the travel back and forth.

Tex is doing well. He's treed some squirrels for me but I haven't shot any yet. I've mostly been deer hunting. Now that the leaves are coming off the trees I'm going to spend more time squirrel hunting. Attachments:

Lookin' good! I replied to your PM. Keep him in the timber and he should make a dog.

[glow=red,2,300]Oh man, Tex is looking sharp. There sure was some great conformation in Tex & Queen's litter. I'm sure he'll start blowing the tops out of the trees soon![/glow]
