im wanting to learn how to go about training a dog for squirrel. i know its a broad subject. but any beginning pointers. or perhaps a recommended book on the subject?

Squirrel Dog Basics is a great book to own! Lots of good information in it.

Genetics helps more than folks realize. One of the things I like about my line of dogs is that the pups basically train themselves.

I wore the cover off my first copy of Sq Dog Basics and bought another one to save for later!

I bought a copy at amazon.com used books, was in excellent shape and reasonable (I think about 5.00 plus 2.99 for shipping. It is a good book to read and has lots of good info.
