Squirrels started to move a little better closer to dark yesterday than in the morning. Gray's Prairie Daisy was putting on a clinic! She and Gray's Lone Ranger were working together great too. Ranger treed the second Southeastern Fox Squirrel of the day which was this year's sow. She was considerably smaller than the big boar we killed over him last season down in North Carolina. In total for the day, the dogs showed us 9 squirrels and we were able to knock out 6. The leaves are still pretty green down there compared to home here in the Virginia Mountains and TALL longleaf pines are always a challenge but overall it was a fun day. Good to see old friends and meet some new ones. We had 10 hunters coming and going throughout the day in rotation! Attachments:
